Working with an Auctioneer to Sell at Auction

  • Identify a possible auction situation
  • Refer to an auctioneer for Referral Fee, or
  • Work with Auctioneer for Commission Split
    • Hang Sign
    • Place in MLS or Loopnet
    • Conduct showings or open house
    • Manage incoming calls
    • Coordinate doc delivery

  • Identify a buying opportunity

  • Determine the amount of Brokers Co-op Fee, if any
  • Register the buyer with an Auctioneer

  • Review Terms of Sale and Contract – Explain to client
  • Make sure the buyer is financially qualified
  • Assist with bidding – DO NOT BID FOR CLIENT
  • Follow up with closing
