Foreclosure cases plummeted in the first three months of the year.
Franklin County Common Pleas Court statistics released by Franklin County Clerk of Courts Maryellen O’Shaughnessy’s office show commercial and residential foreclosure cases dropped to 949 during the first quarter, a steep 43.4 percent decline from the first three months of 2014. The 287 cases filed last month represented a 53.2 percent decline from March 2014.
