106 North High Receiver Reactivated. Taps Borror Properties and Nate Caplin as Manager and Broker
Gryphon Asset Management has resumed its responsibilities as Receiver for the unsold units at the Lofts at 106 N. High St. project in downtown Columbus, Ohio and has engaged Borror Properties to serve as property manager for the remaining units and Nate Caplin of CapOhio has been engaged as sales agent for the project.
Gryphon was originally appointed as receiver on June 17, 2011 and managed the project with the assistance of Lori Steiner from Borror Properties until the owner, 106 North High Street, LLC, filed for bankruptcy protection on September 15th of that year. Creditors to the company moved for Relief from Stay which was granted on January 18, 2012 ultimately placing Gryphon back into its prior role.
While the project has taken some twists, we are now moving in the right direction and the units are again available for lease and sale. Said Richard Kruse, partner with Gryphon Asset Management. Lease prices will range from $1,100 to $2,350 per month and units will be available for purchase from the mid $100,000s up to the high $300,000s depending on size and configuration. All units boast hardwood floors, granite counters and stainless steel appliances, not to mention easy access to the business district, arena area and Short North.
