SVN Auction Services and SVN Gryphon/Parker coordinate auction of 24 surplus vacant land parcels throughout the Greater Dayton area; Bidding begins August 11

June 25, 2015 (Columbus, Ohio)  The real estate auction for the Dayton Public School District (“DPSD”) portfolio of surplus properties located throughout the greater Dayton, Ohio area is now underway. Led by SVN Auction Services’ National Director, Louis B. Fisher III and David E. Gilmore, CCIM and Richard Kruse with Columbus’ SVN Gryphon/Parker, the offering consists of 24 surplus vacant land parcels spanning twelve zip codes with select properties near the Dayton University campus. The auction will be conducted via the internet commencing at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11.

“These are land parcels ranging from 1.15 +/- acres to 16.10 +/- acres throughout the Dayton market,” said Fisher.

In total, the properties are comprised of various zoning classification levels within Residential, Commercial and Industrial uses.

“The potential upside and the property(s) locations in the greater Dayton area should make this an exciting and active auction event” said Kruse.

Qualified bidders can bid on a single parcel, a group of parcels or potentially the entire property asset portfolio. For more information regarding each property and the terms of the sale visit www.DPSDauction.com.

Fisher, a nationally-recognized auction advisory services and commercial real estate professional and SVN Gryphon/Parker a prominent Mid-West auction firm, earned the School District assignment from responding to an RFP earlier this year. In this effort, Fisher and Gilmore are working closely with Kruse and his Columbus-based team along with SVN’s land council specialists.
