March 15, 2015 (Columbus, Oho) – Sperry Van Ness Gryphon Parker is pleased to announce that Maurice Hillman has joined the firm to focus on office, flex and industrial sales and leasing.

Maurice is new to the real estate industry having recently graduated from the 2014 Columbus Real Estate Associate Program (REAP). REAP is an industry-backed, market-driven program that serves as a bridge between talented minority professionals and commercial real estate companies looking for talent.

Prior to becoming involved in the real estate profession, Maurice worked in the professional sports industry as an Account Executive for the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club and Toledo Walleye Hockey Club, and working as a Corporate Marketing Manager with the Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team. From his experiences here, he developed a unique skill in identifying customer’s interest, gathering researched information and delivering viable options to match the customers’ needs.

In addition to working to build his general brokerage practice, Maurice will attend the Ohio Auction School in April to begin the process of earning his Ohio Auctioneers License. Once completed, he will be the 3rd real estate focused auctioneer in the company.
